A thank you to Cathy, Todd, Tyler and Courtney Thoutt for the watercolor painting of Hanging Lake Falls, Glenwood Canyon, CO.  The original painting was purchased as a memorial gift to Advent in honor of Ken and Janet Mulvaney.  It is located in the Minister of Youth/Education office (Tonya Hanson’s office).  Stop in to see it, and say “Hi” to Tonya.

A thank you also to Chris and Edie Graves for the lovely framed photograph, “Resurrection.”  It is located in the Education Hallway as you make the turn to the Fireside lounge.  Pause to reflect on the symbolism.  It is a Colorado Columbine that has bloomed surrounded by the dark, lifeless forest underbrush.

A thank you to all of you who contribute to the Memorial Fund in memory or honor  of loved ones.  Pastor Barb’s office furniture was purchased from this fund.  A new desk, chair, filing cabinet, credenza, end table, and bulletin board have arrived.  Four new chairs will also be purchased.  The last touches will be new valances.  The old furniture has been recycled (again) to different parts of the church.

A thank you to the many people who have contributed to the living stones that will be placed in the Memorial Garden.

Finally, a thank you to Jack and Julie Leger for the untold hours already spent in making the Memorial Garden a reality.  Julie is also responsible for the new plantings next to the narthex doors and is also working on the two areas next to the sanctuary doors.  Please seek them out and volunteer to give them a needed helping hand.

If you have ideas for the Memorial Wish List, please call any committee member:  Bev Ray, Cynthia Harms, Vickie Voth, or Evie Cullman.
