Old Time Radio and Hot Dogs March 14th at Noon
Your money or your life! Who was that mask man! Hi, unk! Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? There’s just one way to handle the killers and the spoilers: that’s with a U.S. marshal, and the smell of gun smoke! Got your attention?
You’ll enjoy this program whether you remember hearing old time radio when it was on the air or just curious about what the old theater of the mind was all about.
Listen to antidotes and audio clips from old time radio. Where did Jack Benny find Rochester and who was Carmicle? Who was Throckmortin P. Gildersleve and what happened to that famous bachelor’s wife? Come and hear the answers to these and many more interesting and fun facts.
Enjoy, relax, listen and share your memoreies of radio - that tranquil time before television. Hot dogs, buns, condiments and beverages will be provided. Bring a salad or dessert if you can. COME ONE, COME ALL! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Jester Dinner Theatre on April 15, 2012

On Sunday, April 15,
the ADVENTures are going to the Jester Dinner Theatre in Longmont to see “ONCE
UPON A MATTRESS”. For car pooling, we
need to meet in the parking lot of the church at 11:30. For driving directly,
you need to be at the theatre by at least 1:00 PM. If at least 12 are going, we
have a special price of $28 for the dinner and the show. There will be a sign up sheet with additional
information at the church. All members and friends of members are invited. The Jester Theatre is located at 224 Main

“ONCE UPON A MATTRESS”
is a musical comedy take off of “The Princess and the Pea”. The music is by Mary Rodgers, daughter of
Richard Rodgers of Rogers and Hammerstein fame.
Come see why in this version of the story, it wasn’t the pea at all that
caused the princess a sleepless night. The food will be great with various
entree choices and the acting is extraordinary.
The ADVENTurers are going to the “Phantom of the Opera”

It has come to our attention that one of our own youthful members, Michelle Moyer, is going to be performing in a school production of Phantom of the Opera next month at Legacy High School, 136th & Zuni, on Saturday, February 18th at 7:00 p.m. These performances always sell out quickly, so please get in touch with Bonnie Olson, 303-429-0413 or Annetta Hernandez, 303-429-3325, for tickets, which cost $10.00 each. You will also have the option of meeting at a restaurant ( to be decided) for dinner before the play. Watch for more information and a sign-up sheet regarding restaurant, carpooling, directions, etc.
A Family ADVENTURE at the Wild Animal Sanctuary

There are over 220 exotic animals, including lions, tigers and bears living in large acreage habitats just 30 miles NE of Denver in Keenesburg, Colorado. The Adventure will take place in October, but an exact date hasn’t been chosen yet, so be sure to keep checking the bulletin for updates or call Bonnie Olson for more information. Join the ADVENTurers for an hour and a half guided tour of Dinosaur Ridge on SATURDAY, JUNE 25TH!! Bring your grandchildren, bring your children, bring your neighbor–we’re all going to learn about dinosaurs, and have a wonderful lunch afterwards at Macaroni Grill. We’ll meet at the church at 9:00 a.m. to carpool. The tour is $3 per person. If you purchase a Scrip Card for the Macaroni Grill, you’ll also be helping out the Youth!
